prototyping
As a textile artist, my work is a dialogue between tradition and innovation, between the tangible and the intangible. The process of making is both a meticulous and an intuitive journey, where each thread woven, each stitch embroidered, and each fabric dyed embodies a story, a memory, or an emotion. My craft is an exploration of the intricate relationship between material and form.
Here are some examples of various process and prototyping in my work.
Exploring the traditional Japanese basketweaving technique called Kagome that is both referenced in modern physics and large-scale architecture such as the Pompidou Metz.
Inspirational elements that are a dialogue between form and functionality, each entangled and informing each other in the process.
